It lasts for months.

In the Saint-Michel district, the huge 36,600 m2 head office which housed 1,700 employees is almost empty.

The circus now has only 185 employees across the world.

They are all that remains of Cirque du Soleil which, until mid-March, with 44 shows, most of which are on tour, had 4,679 employees including 2,000 artists.

95% of employees were laid off in March.

"On March 13, we resolved to close our 44 shows in 48 hours, repatriate our shows which were touring on five continents and allow 2000 employees to return to their families"

Daniel Lamarre, general manager of the circus
