police released a video tonight (Monday) of the attempted attack earlier in the Old City of Jerusalem.

According to police, around 7:00 PM, a suspect (17, Kabatia) arrived at a police force operating at the Bab Huta Gate (the entrance to the Temple Mount) in the Old City, pulled out an improvised Carlo weapon and began firing at the local forces. 

Immediately afterwards he began to flee while border guards were chasing him. During the chase the attacker continued firing at them while responding quickly, firing at the attacker and he was neutralized and killed.

During the operation of the forces in the incident, a Border Patrol fighter was injured during the chase and later sought medical treatment. The rapid response of the police and border fighters that led to the end of the incident without further casualties.
