Video shows column of smoke after explosion in Nashville 0:25

Police and firefighters are at the scene of an explosion in Nashville this Christmas morning, according to a spokeswoman for the Nashville Fire Department.
“There is an incident that involved an explosion.
This is an active scene, ”spokeswoman Kendra Loney told CNN.
"The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department and the Nashville Fire Department are on the scene."
Police tweeted that the explosion is "linked to a vehicle" and they are investigating with their federal partners.
The blast took place outside of downtown 166 2nd Avenue N., police said.
Additional details were not immediately available, Loney said.
Nashville Mayor John Cooper told CNN he was "aware of an explosion" and was on his way to the scene.
"I know that the emergency services are asking for our help, all our specialties, to investigate the cause of the explosion and I am sure that more information will be released soon," Cooper said.

The mayor added that the explosion occurred on 2nd Avenue, on the edge of the Tennessee City Hotel and Tourist District, in an old and historic part of the city.
Cooper did not know if any injuries were reported as a result of the blast.
Images from CNN affiliate WTVF showed smoke from a fire, with debris covering the area.
Witness Buck McCoy told CNN that the explosion happened right in front of his home.
On the street, he said he saw three cars that were "completely engulfed" in flames.
"There were trees everywhere, glass everywhere," he said, adding that he saw some people who were not injured but appeared to be in shock.
