The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate has introduced three new wells in the Alouk Water Project into service with the aim of improving the reality of pumping water to subscribers.
The Director of the Foundation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ukla, stated to the SANA reporter that the three wells enter service for the first time, to be added to the previously existing wells, and the number of wells currently operating in the project will be 18 wells and 4 horizontal pumps.
The engineer pointed out that the abundance of the three wells is good, amounting to 300 cubic meters per hour for each of them, which has improved the quantities of water pumped from the project and currently reaches 80 thousand cubic meters per day, which will positively affect the reality of pumping water to subscribers.
It is noteworthy that the Water Corporation is currently carrying out maintenance in the Alouk project, with the aim of putting it into service at full capacity.
