The Yau Tsim Police District and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department inspected 70 licensed premises such as restaurants, bars and party rooms in Tsim Sha Tsui last night (26th) and found that two bars and party rooms were operating illegally in Tsim Sha Tsui. Police Prosecute two persons in charge, and issue tickets for restricted gathering orders to 10 Party Room customers.

The police said that during the operation, a bar on Minden Path was found to continue to operate after 6pm. The person in charge of the bar was suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Provisions and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Section Chapter 599F), the officer will prosecute the person in charge.

Later, during the inspection, the Tsim Sha Tsui Miscellaneous Investigation Team found that a party room on Granville Road was operating illegally. The above-mentioned person in charge was suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Provisions and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Section Chapter 599F), the officer will prosecute the person in charge.

And 10 customers, 6 men and 4 women, aged between 24 and 28, were suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Regulations (Chapter 599G). The officers issued fixed penalty notices to them.
