At nearly 4 am today (27th), on the pavement off Choi Hing Road No. 1 Middle School in Ngau Tau Kok, a motorcycle parked at the site caught fire and burst into flames. Residents in nearby housing estates saw it and called for help.
The firefighter arrived at the scene and opened his throat to shoot water. The fire was soon put out.
The fire-burning motorcycle was thrown into a torch and the frame was burnt. Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
A similar arson case occurred on Caixing Road on August 23 this year. At about 1 a.m. that day, a three-wheeled motorcycle parked on a hillside off of a middle school on Caixing Road caught fire and left its frame. The fire department believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious. , The case was investigated by the Criminal Investigation Team of Sau Mau Ping Police District.
