The General Sewerage Company in Aleppo is implementing a project to replace and rehabilitate the sewage network in the Jabriya neighborhood with a value of 200 million pounds, which will contribute to serving more than 60 thousand citizens.
Engineer Muhammad Baha Hajj Hussein, Director of the General Sewerage Company in Aleppo said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the network replacement project consists of two parts, the first is 650 meters in length and the second is 750 meters, at an estimated cost of the two projects of 200 million pounds, and aims to replace the old sewage network that suffers from leakage and blockages. The executive director of the company executing the project, Depo S, stated that the excavations were carried out in both parts of the project at high rates through the intensification of the workshops operating over the twenty-four hours, as the neighborhood is witnessing a population and traffic congestion to replace the old and worn out sewage network with new polyethylene pipes of different sizes and it has been completed. Excavations, installation of pipes, and repositioning in a simultaneous and rapid manner in order to achieve the completion of the project according to the contractual period determined within 21 days.
