Russell Specialist Hospital in Al-Sanamayn city, in cooperation with the Al-Sanamayn Media Diary team, launched an initiative to provide citizens with Coronavirus, after medical evaluation, with oxygen cylinders, oxygen meters, and spray to help them recover in their homes.

SANA visited Al-Sanamayn city to find out the reality of the initiative and met with a number of participants, as Kamal Diab, Director General of Russell Hospital, explained that the initiative generally includes the city of Sanamayn and its surrounding areas, and the number of residents who will benefit from it is about 250 thousand people, indicating that the aim of this initiative is to support The work of the Directorate of Health Daraa and reduce the burden on it.

He added that an ambulance will be placed free of charge before the end of 2020 at the disposal of the Health Directorate, the Health Center in Al-Sanamayn and the Military Hospital in the city.

Lawyer Mahmoud Al-Nassar from the Al-Sanamayn Diaries team explained that the team carried out several voluntary campaigns for sterilization in public places such as mosques and schools, in addition to cooperating with Russell Hospital to secure the needs of patients in light of the difficult economic conditions, pointing out that they are working hand in hand to support the efforts of the health sector in the province to confront the spread of the Coronavirus .

Dr. Majd Al-Rahail from the same team showed that the devices meet the patient's need at home as long as he does not go to receive treatment in isolation centers or hospitals, pointing out that the equipment is provided on loan and as soon as the patient recovers, he is received and presented to another patient.

In turn, Mahmoud Al-Muhammad, head of Al-Sanamayn City Council, explained that the hospital, in cooperation with the city council and the local community, provided home treatment equipment for Corona patients, stressing that these humanitarian actions cast a shadow over the state of solidarity prevailing in the city of Al-Sanamayn, which aims to stand with those in need of treatment from Corona.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Labbad, President of Al-Sanamayn Charitable Society, indicated that this initiative is important in terms of volunteer work and the great efforts made by people in order to limit the spread of the virus, pointing out the need for greater concerted efforts and for this initiative to become a model that is circulated at the governorate level.
