The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 1226 new infections and 53 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, stated in a statement today that the total number of cases of corona in Egypt so far has reached 132,541, while the total deaths reached 7,405 cases.
Mujahid indicated that 553 recovered from infection with the virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering from Corona to 11,015 people until today.
