In recognition of their efforts in voluntary work and the delivery of aid to those who deserve it, today thirty young men and women from the Syrian volunteers were honored in the initiative team (With Love From Russia) at the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus.
The initiative ended its first phase for the year 2020, during which 455 tons of foodstuffs were distributed in eight governorates and a large city, 55 tons per governorate, to the families most affected by the war on Syria.

In a speech delivered at the honoring ceremony, Nikolai Sukhov, Director of the Russian Cultural Center, praised the team’s work and efforts made for the good of the Syrian people through the delivery of aid provided by the Russian Federation, pointing to the role of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian-Syrian Business Council and the Russian Gathering to develop friendship and business relations with Syria. With the success of this humanitarian initiative and its support.
Dr. Luay Youssef, head of the Russian-Syrian Business Council, explained in a statement to SANA that the honor included 30 members of the team who carried out the distribution work, provided that it includes, in future stages, the rest of the members who had fallen on the shoulders of transport, packaging and packing works, stressing that the team “harmonized with all love and humanity with Voluntary work helped the disabled and the sick. ”At the same time, he noted the support of the Russian Federal Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation.
During the honoring ceremony, three documentary films were shown, the first of which dealt with the campaign carried out by the initiative team with all love from Russia in the countryside of Damascus, while the second contained clips of the team’s campaigns in the provinces, and the third film was shown for the Christmas and New Year celebrations in Russia, which was held by the Russian Cultural Center the day before yesterday.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Youssef and Dr. Reham Droubi, general coordinator of the initiative, distributed certificates of participation in an initiative with all the love from Russia to the members of the attending team.
