Imad Nadour, director of the Syrian branch of trade in Homs, stated that more than 540 tons of potatoes have been marketed directly from farmers in the countryside of Homs without an intermediary until now, pointing out that the autumn potatoes received by the corporation and marketing them were aimed at putting them in the halls of the corporation when the potato supply decreased in the first two months The second is to support price stability and prevent traders from monopolizing it.
In a statement to SANA, Nadour indicated that it is expected to market about 2000 tons from various regions of Homs that produce potatoes, especially the northern and southern countryside.
On the other hand, Nadour revealed the opening of a center for the packaging of sugar and rice in the city of Tal Kalakh that serves the halls spread in the city of Tal Kalakh and the western countryside of the governorate in order to reduce pressure, save time and accelerate the delivery of citizens to their dues, thus raising the number of packaging centers to five centers.
