"One-way humanitarian gestures only increase hatred"
The family of the late soldier Hadar Goldin, whose body has been held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip for more than six years, petitioned the High Court today (Thursday) against the transfer of goods, including vaccines against Corona, to the Gaza Strip.
The family demands a ban on the movement of people, goods and corona vaccines to and from the Gaza Strip, until their son's body is returned to Israel.
In the petition, filed through attorney Prof. Aviad HaCohen, Leah and Simcha Goldin claim that the Israeli government and security forces allow the movement of people and goods on a huge scale to and from the Gaza Strip, far above what is required by international law.
It is also alleged in the petition that those involved in this extensive activity are hiding the information from the public, and although they have been approached seven times during the past year demanding the disclosure of the data in this matter have not been answered.
"For more than six years, we have been surrounded by the Israeli government and its leaders, as well as members of the defense establishment, in denial and deception. There is talk of their commitment to get our sons back in their throats, but this is nothing but nonsense, behind nothing and nothing,"

Judge Elron gave the state a week to respond to the Goldin family's petition and ruled that it must file its response by January 6.
