The community of Neuching has to implement a security concept at the Lüßer Weiher.

The first results are now available.

Neuching / Lüß

- bathing, sunbathing or playing at the Lüßer Weiher: In future, all of this will only be possible with a security concept that the Neuching municipality has to implement (we reported).

The council had asked Dr.

Georg Krafft from Munich commissioned a corresponding paper.

At the last council meeting of the year, the panel debated its results.

An inspection of the bathing pond took place on November 10th.

The sand entrance holds a potential hazard, it is said.

It should be moved further back or closer to the hut.

Third Mayor Manfred Mittermaier (FWG) brought another aspect to the table: “We must immediately think that the temperature of the pond is halfway reasonable again.” Now it is sometimes freezing.

He is convinced that the pond will be more attractive again for families with warmer water.

Around ten years ago, an underwater drain was installed and this must be checked.

In general, the entrance to the water should be made as safe as possible - also with the stones.

How is it really going on?

The construction committee will deal with this in a public meeting on Wednesday, January 13, directly on site at the Lüßer bathing pond.

It starts at 3 p.m.

The topic will then also come up on Tuesday, January 19, in the municipal council, as the building committee can only make recommendations.

The consultations start at 7.30 p.m. in the Eventstadl at the Neuwirt.

“Everything has to be implemented by the start of the bathing season,” said Andrea Knauer, the head of administration.
