A spontaneous protest broke out today (Thursday) in the Gaza Strip against posters showing the commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Suleimani, who was killed a year ago in an American attack in Iraq.

Several photos and videos have surfaced showing corrupt posters by Gaza residents.

In one case, a torn poster was seen on a large billboard on the main road in the Gaza Strip.

In another case a poster spray-painted is seen and in another case a portrait of Suleimani is seen with the shoe placed on it.

The protest against the memory of the senior Iranian official comes both from the Sunni Salafi cleric, Majdi al-Ma'rabi, who seems to be tearing up one of the posters himself and among Gazans who do not belong to the extremist religious group Tach who oppose Iran's intervention throughout the Arab world.

Blogger Abu Ali, an activist on social media in the Hebrew language, reported that a Gazan journalist named Hamza Al-Masri filmed a video in which he condemned Suleimani's death and compared the Iranian general to senior Israeli officials.

"Wouldn't it bother you that the citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen would hang pictures of Sharon and Netanyahu?" The journalist wondered.

The relationship between the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and Hamas has in the past known stages of depression in Iraq around the Hamas terrorist organization's support for the rebel organizations in Syria in the first years of the country's civil war.
