For several months now, the office of the Minister of Labor, Élisabeth Borne, and the social partners have been working on a device to promote the professional retraining of employees without the need to go through the unemployment box or through a social plan.
In other words, it is about allowing employees to move from one job to another by creating bridges between business sectors with a simple and efficient transition.
This was also one of Medef's wishes in September with its
"20 proposals for professional retraining".
And this for two reasons: first because this subject was a blind spot in the professional future law in 2018, and secondly because social damage seems inevitable in the month to come.
Hence the need to act quickly.
