Rafael Warnock, the Democratic candidate for the Senate elections for Georgia, announced that he will be leading the results of the elections that have not yet been counted.
"I'm going to the Senate to work for the whole of Georgia, regardless of who voted for me in this election," Warnock was quoted by Reuters as saying.
In the election, Warnock faced Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler, while the outcome of the second seat in the state remains unresolved, as Republicans hope to win him to keep their majority in the Senate.
The counting processes began in Georgia after the polls closed in the re-election for two seats in the Senate, and the results are expected to be decided whether the Republicans or the Democrats will control the House.
