The US police announced the death of the woman who was shot in the Capitol building yesterday, after supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump stormed Congress headquarters in Washington from her wounds.
And Agence France-Presse quoted police spokeswoman Alina Gertz as saying that the injured woman died, while Federal Capital Police Chief Robert Conte said during a press conference that an investigation had been opened to determine the circumstances of the woman being shot.
Protesters supporting President Trump broke through the security barriers surrounding the Capitol building and occupied the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, as Congress suspended discussion of the electoral college results.
