A policeman was documented this evening (Thursday) in a demonstration in Tel Aviv when he punched a demonstrator with his fist.

About 250 demonstrators arrived in Tel Aviv this evening, to protest against the conduct of the Shai police station, in an incident in which the late Ahuvia Godfather was killed during a police chase.

The demonstrators began the demonstration in front of the home of Homeland Security Minister Amir Ohana - who met with Godfather's family last week - and from there marched in the direction of the nearby Azrieli junction.

The demonstrators closed the intersection and a few minutes later the policemen with cavalry evacuated them.

As mentioned, during the clashes between the demonstrators and the police, one of the policemen was documented pushing a demonstrator and another policeman punched him in the face.

Since the incident last week, protests have taken place many times in various centers in the country.

The police response will be brought when received
