New York City Mayor Bill di Blasio announced the opening of three new Covid-19 vaccination sites for those who qualify. The vaccination points will be located in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island and will join two others already open in Queens and the Bronx. Di Blasio expects at least 100,000 people to be inoculated this week and to achieve one million vaccinated by the end of January. The mayor hopes to raise the number of vaccination centers to 250 also by the end of the month, while broadening the criteria for more people to be vaccinated.
