The year begins with an unprecedented race between the virus and the vaccine.
We are in the process of updating our growth estimates for 2020 and our forecasts for 2021. They paint a less gloomy picture than our last forecast for October, mainly thanks to the surprisingly large rebound in the third quarter.
We continue to face immense uncertainty about ending the health crisis and we will still face difficult times.
Internal and inter-country inequalities are increasing.
But there are tremendous opportunities for structural change.
