Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online. Donald Trump planned to "strike and assassinate" elected officials during the attack on Capitol Hill, according to new Justice Department submissions.
Among those mentioned there is Jacob Chansley of Arizona, a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theory documented at Vice President Mike Pence's table disguised with horns on his head and fur on his body.
"There is solid evidence, including the words and actions of Chansley himself in the Capitol, that supports the claim that the intent of the rioters in the Capitol was to strike and assassinate members of the United States administration," prosecutors said of last week's assault.
According to them, the 33-year-old Chansley left a note for a flashlight on the podium in a room in the Senate on which the vice president had stood a few minutes earlier, in which he wrote that "it is only a matter of time, justice is coming."
