Report in Syria: Explosion in Deir a-Zour, on territory controlled by pro-Iranian militias
The Syrian Organization for Human Rights announced an explosion in the east of the country, in the same area that reportedly was the target of an Israeli attack earlier this week.
Recently, in the run-up to the change of government in the US, there have been increasing reports of attacks on Iranian and other targets

The Syrian Organization for Human Rights this evening (Friday) reported an explosion in Deir a-Zour in eastern Syria, in an area controlled by pro-Iranian Shiite militias.
This is the same area where 40 people were reportedly killed in an Israeli attack on Wednesday.
Recently, ahead of the change of government in Washington, there have been increasing reports of Israeli attacks in Syria against Iranian and other targets.
