A group of men came in two minibuses to beat up two colleagues in a temporary workers accommodation.
One of the accomplices now had to answer before the Erding District Court.
Northern County
- When the phone rang and his supervisor asked him to drive to the temporary workers' accommodation on his day off, a 44-year-old Bulgarian didn't hesitate.
Together with other men, the two set off for the northern district.
There they wanted to confront two Polish colleagues.
They forced them to surrender 200 euros and beat them, armed with baseball bats and iron bars.
The 44-year-old now had to answer to the Erding district court.
Laceration on the head, injuries to the arm and hip
The attack occurred in June 2014, some accomplices have already been convicted, others went into hiding.
The act was probably preceded by complaints about the Polish colleagues.
They would regularly cause unrest in the temporary workers' accommodation while drunk.
So also on the day on which the foreman spontaneously summoned his small army.
According to the indictment, the men made their way to the accommodation in Erdinger Land with a car and two minibuses.
There they beat up the Poles.
One of the victims suffered a laceration on the head, the other injured his arm and hip.
The defendant did not testify in court.
The foreman, who had already been sentenced, said as a witness: “I gave the people an advance payment.
But there was a mess in the accommodation.
The two Poles were always drunk.
I had to keep calm.
I wanted to take the money from them so that they wouldn't buy more alcohol. ”A brawl was not initially planned.
"They were drunk men, I was scared, that's why I called six or seven people." After six and a half years, he couldn't remember whether the defendant was there.
“Is this an everyday occurrence?
Do you forget something like that? ”Judge Michaela Wawerla wanted to know.
The answer: “I try to forget bad things.
I was convicted, apologized, and paid pain and suffering.
I have a new life now. "
Policeman: "You don't go to the coffee tour with two buses."
A chief detective reported in court on the interrogation of an accomplice who had since gone into hiding.
The latter admitted that he had hit the two Poles with his fists together with the defendant.
"Are you sure he meant the defendant?" Asked Wawerla.
The answer: “Yes, they know each other.
We also assume that there was an agreement in advance.
You don't go to the coffee tour with two buses. "
Another uninvolved witness stated that he had seen the defendant briefly on the spot.
But he no longer knew whether this had struck.
The two injured parties, who are now back in Poland, did not come to the hearing.
This made it difficult to prove complicity with the accused.
Since he was certainly not the main culprit and only followed a call from his superior, the proceedings were finally discontinued in exchange for a sum of 2500 euros in favor of the Dominik Brunner Foundation.
