France: Jean Fuchsienne, 58, who was pronounced dead three years ago by a court, is fighting to prove she is still alive.

Fuchs told the French newspaper France Blue that she did not have Social Security, a bank account or a valid ID.

"Actually, I've been in quarantine for 3 years," she said.

The bizarre incident took place in the commune of Saint-Joseph, a small town of about 2,000 people in the province of Loire in central France.

In November 2017, a court in the city of Lyon ruled that Fuchsin was dead, after a former employee of the company she worked for claimed a fight with him.

She soon discovered that her death had become a reality, at least according to the French government.

"I went to see a lawyer, and he told me it would work out very quickly," Pushin said.

"Immediately afterwards I went to my doctor to get confirmation that I was alive and well. But apparently the document did not satisfy the authorities, as it is contrary to the court's ruling."

According to Pushin, her condition is simply unbearable.

"France has been in quarantine for three months? I have been locked in my house for three years. I do not have an identity card, I do not have Social Security, I can not prove to the banks that I am alive, I am in fact nothing," Pushin said.

According to her, due to the strange situation, she rarely leaves her home, and spends most of her time on the balcony.

The legal hearing on the appeal filed by Fushain's attorney on the determination of her "death" is expected to take place this week, and she hopes to return to life soon, in the eyes of the law at least.
