The National Office for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance of the Palestine Liberation Organization affirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to pave the roads of apartheid in the occupied city of Jerusalem to cut off the geographical connection between it and the rest of the West Bank cities and towns and to implement colonial annexation plans.

In its weekly report issued today on its website, the office stated that the occupation authorities announced a new plan to establish an apartheid road that would not allow Palestinians to pass through, and aims to link a settlement on the lands of the town of Al-Zaim, east of occupied Jerusalem, with the city from the west, and with the towns of Anata, Hizma, and Al-Ram in the northeast. Indicating that this plan threatens to close the northern entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya by the Apartheid Wall, which means that the Palestinians will not be able to reach it through this entrance and will be forced to pass a tunnel that extends from the town of Al-Zaim to Abu Dis and Al-Eizariya.

The report indicated that this plan is added to the apartheid wall that surrounds the village of Al-Zaim, east of Jerusalem, and to the settlement roads that separate the towns of occupied Jerusalem from each other and from the rest of the West Bank, indicating that while this plan links the settlements built on occupied Jerusalem lands, it threatens to separate the southern West Bank. This means the elimination of any possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities announced a plan to establish 530 new settlement units in the southwest and north of occupied Jerusalem, and another plan to establish 800 new settlement units to expand settlements established in Jerusalem, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya and Jenin.

The report indicated that the occupation forces demolished two homes in the towns of Silwan and Beit Hanina in occupied Jerusalem and an agricultural facility in the town of Tuqu ', east of Bethlehem, and delivered notices to demolish facilities and homes in Qalqilya and Khirbet Yarza in the northern Jordan Valley.

The report stated that the occupation forces continue to raze areas of Palestinian land in Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood in Silwan and hundreds of dunams of lands from the towns of Burqin and Kafr al-Deek, west of Salfit, to expand settlement operations and close the main entrances to Mughayir village, east of Ramallah, forcing the Palestinians to take long bumpy roads in order to reach Their places of work.

The report indicated that settlers continue their attacks on West Bank cities and towns with the protection of the occupation forces, as they uprooted 190 olive trees in the villages of Qusra and Jaloud in Nablus and dozens of fruit trees in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and stormed the town of Cyrenaica in Nablus and Turmus Aya in Ramallah and attacked the homes and properties of Palestinians and razed areas. Of Palestinian agricultural lands in the towns of Aqraba and Jinabus, south of Nablus, blocking the Qalqilya / Nablus road, preventing Palestinians from passing through and attacking their vehicles.
