US President-elect Joe Biden has announced: US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, one of the key players in the 2015 negotiations under the powers' agreement with Iran, the Reuters news agency reported.
Sherman, who holds a master's degree in social work, served as a consultant to the U.S. State Department from 1997-1997, and at the same time was also a policy coordinator on North Korea.
As is well known, in Jerusalem there is a fear that Biden will return to the agreement, from which the United States emerged during the administration of President Doland Trump, who in this step returned the sanctions on the Iranians. This move was backed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
