Prince Harry expressed an emotional wish on Remembrance Day.
But the Queen consciously spoke out against it.
The palace apparently kept the details a secret to avoid any disturbance.
Commonwealth nations remember fallen veterans
on
Remembrance Day
.
Prince Harry and Meghan
could not be there this year.
The
Queen
apparently deliberately denied the desire to
lay
a wreath in the name of the

Los Angeles - Is the rift between the
Queen
and
Harry and Meghan
stronger than expected?
In November 2020, the palace had denied the prince an emotional request - it was suspected.
Because now it became known: Apparently it was the
Queen
personally who spoke out against her grandson's wishes.
Is there more to the Rememberance Day incident?
Harry and Meghan: Queen worships ex-royal emotional desire - decision lasted "only two seconds"
Ceremonies of the Nations of the Commonwealth in London?
No possibility
for
Harry and Meghan
this year.
Due to the distance from Los Angeles and London and the travel restrictions caused by Corona, the two
ex-royals were
unable to take part in the state ceremonies last year.
Hence
Harry's
wish on
Remembrance Day
that a wreath be laid in London in his name.
But the request was denied.
At first it was reported that the
palace made
the decision on its own - without the
Queen's
knowledge
.
This information, however, has not been publicly corrected because the palace did not want to turn Remembrance Day into a family dispute.
Because that would have been disrespectful, reports Royal expert Rebecca English now at
Daily Mail
.
In fact, the
Queen
alone decided to cancel.
It took “only two seconds” for her to make her decision, according to English, referring to an unnamed source from the palace.
Harry and Meghan: "Either you are in - or you are outside" - Queen with a strict opinion on Megxit
But why the
Queen's
harsh rejection of
her grandson?
"Remembrance Sunday is sacred when it comes to
Majesty's
schedule
," the royal family source said.
“It's one of the most important dates on your calendar and nothing happens without your knowledge.” Shortly afterwards, the explanations become even clearer.
“It was the
Queen's
decision
.
She had a clear opinion on the subject, ”the source said.
Another insider reported, according to English, that the
Queen
admired Harry's successes, both in the military and outside of it.
However, she sees
his request for
Remembrance Day
as an example of his "lack of understanding of what it means for him to be a
non-working royal
." The Queen apparently has clear ideas about how Harry and Meghan are now involved in the royal business.
"The
Queen
is very determined in her opinion that you cannot freely choose what you do when it comes to the institution," said the insider.
"Either you are in - or you are outside."
That sounds strict.
But this opinion could also
have an impact
on the
Megxit
.
It will soon be a year since
Meghan and Harry
put down royal business and moved to America.
The transition phase will run until March 31.
After that it has to be renegotiated:
Exit or Megxit
.
We now know
the
Queen's
opinion
: Either in or out - there is no in between.
