A flower cat in a grocery store in Sham Shui Po was stolen in public yesterday (16th) by a woman. It is understood that the flower cat struggled to escape after being stolen. Its whereabouts are unknown.
The police subsequently arrested a woman on suspicion of theft, and will explain the case later. "Hong Kong 01" will be broadcast live.
At about 10 o'clock in the morning (17th), the police sent officers to Ruzhou Street to investigate the incident. During the investigation, they asked the shop staff in the neighborhood and distributed leaflets to find the missing cat.
At 12 noon yesterday (16th), a 30-year-old Bangladeshi woman in Sham Shui Po reported that her 16-month-old Japanese Bobtail cat Lily, with black and light brown stripes, was raised at 140A on Ruzhou Street. The number opposite was stolen.
After preliminary investigation by the police, the case was temporarily classified as theft and handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Sham Shui Po Police District for follow-up.
