Forecast: Flooding in Nahariya, snow on the lower level of Mount Hermon

Police closed roads in Nahariya today (Sunday), due to the heavy rains in the city that caused flooding in several areas.
Before noon it began to snow on the lower level of Mount Hermon.
Later in the day it may rain in the center of the country, accompanied by strong winds.
In the south of the country there may be haze.
The roads closed to traffic in Nahariya are Hagaaton Boulevard: in the section between Weizmann Street and Sokolov Street, Weizmann Street: between the Founders Junction and Szold Junction, and Sokolov Street: in the section between David Elazar and Rachel Maskit.
Police are directing drivers to alternative routes.
Tomorrow will be cooler and temperatures will be lower than normal for the season.
Also, in the north and center of the country, local rains are expected accompanied by isolated thunderstorms.
In the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea there is a fear of floods and on Mount Hermon the snow will continue to fall.

The weather on Tuesday will be clear but it will still be colder than usual for the season and strong winds are expected to blow.
In the north of the country it is expected to rain intermittently accompanied by thunderstorms and during the day it will gradually spread to the northern Negev.
In the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea, the fear of floods will continue.
Later in the week the trend is expected to continue with low temperatures for the season and local showers.
