The Emergency Committee for Coronavirus in the Sultanate of Oman announced the closure of the country's land borders, starting tomorrow, for a week, to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Oman News Agency quoted the committee as saying today that this measure can be extended for a longer period depending on the development of the situation in the country.
Oman has previously taken strict measures to confront the continuing spread of the Corona pandemic.
To date, the number of Corona cases in the Sultanate of Oman has reached 131,790, while 1,512 deaths have been recorded.
