Three small children were seriously injured in the devastating fire.

on Sunday morning (January 17)

There were three children among the injured.
There was also a high level of property damage.
As the Geisenfeld police station reported, the
fire in a residential building was
reported at
around 05:40
.
When the rescue workers arrived, the single-family house was already in a
full fire
.
The adult residents, three women aged 23, 51 and 83, were able
to save
themselves from the
burning building
.
Three children
aged four, five and six years remained in the house and had to be
rescued from the house
by the incoming
fire department
.

All three children suffered
severe smoke poisoning
and had to be admitted to
special clinics
.
The three adult women also suffered minor smoke gas injuries and are also being
treated
as
inpatients.
The fire brigade was able to
prevent the flames from spreading
to neighboring buildings, but the house that caught fire was completely destroyed.
This resulted in property damage, which, according to initial estimates,
amounts
to around
200,000 euros
.
Why the fire broke out is currently unclear.

large number of helpers from
the Red Cross and the technical relief organization.
Security
measures are
currently being carried out on site at the
residential building
at
risk of collapse.
It was only on Friday that a devastating fire broke out in Sauerlach (district of Munich), in which the old town hall of the community caught fire.
While all important files could be rescued from the registry office on the ground floor, after the roof beams collapsed, any help came too late for the residents of the house who lived upstairs.
