Already a precarious snow situation in the south of Bavaria
The Garmisch-Partenkirchen district in particular was shaken by a violent onset of winter on Friday night *.
On Saturday there was even an avalanche near Greinau. * Elsewhere, like in the district of Miesbach *, the weather would be perfect - but unfortunately only people who live closer than 15 kilometers to the relevant mountains and slopes can enjoy it.
Because of the 200 incidence there, the 15-kilometer rule applies here, including a ban on entering the district for day trippers.

The authority further writes:
"The main problem is fresh snowdrift accumulations. These can be triggered as large snowboards by the slight additional load of a single skier or snowboarder."
