The data of the Spanish Ministry of Health showed a record high number of new infections with the Coronavirus during the weekend, with 33,800 new infections recorded.
According to the ministry, the total number of infections recorded throughout the country since the virus began spreading has reached two million and 336,451, while the total deaths from the virus reached 53,769 after the announcement of 151 new cases.
