Germany recorded 11,369 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to two million and 5,2028 cases.
According to data issued by the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany, 989 new deaths were also recorded, bringing the death toll to 47,622 cases.
German Finance Minister Olaf Schultz confirmed that Germany will have to extend and tighten lockdown measures to reduce the number of people infected with Corona faster.
For its part, Mexico recorded 8,074 infections and 455 new deaths from the virus, which brings the total number of infections to one million and 649,502 cases and deaths to 141248 cases.
In China, the National Health Committee announced that the mainland recorded 118 new cases of Coronavirus yesterday, up from 109 cases the previous day, adding that the new cases included 106 local infections.
The total confirmed cases of Covid 19 disease on the Chinese mainland reached 89,454 cases, while the total deaths remained unchanged at 4,635 cases.
