Avir Kara, the leader of the Shulmanim movement, announced today (Tuesday) that he has joined Naftali Bennett's right-wing party.

"We have made a decision to join with five representatives in the largest party in my opinion, and to do as much good as possible with the Independents," Kara told supporters at an event held at Zoom.

"Congratulations to Shulmanim," Bennett greeted at the same time.

"From a big Brock on this day. Right and the Shulmans today is one family. You have come a long way here, and today we are becoming the home of half a million businesses in Israel. My wife and I set up businesses, and I know how difficult it is to start a business in this country," he added.

"Our goal today is very sharp in this alliance and marriage between the Shulmanim and the right, and is to make this country a paradise for Shulmanim, business owners and entrepreneurs, without the trouble of the state. In the next government we form we need people, not more politicians," Bennett noted.

"In the last year and a half you - led by this special person called Knight Kara - have raised the issue of business to the agenda. Knight is not a professor, but he comes from the field. I want people to fight like Knight and like you."

"I call on all members, this entire family: let's bring a new prime minister with the same energies here on March 23," Kara said.

He said, "I worked with Bennett during the Corona period, I saw a man imbued with purpose, full of motivation to come and do. Only he cares about the economy, the self-employed and the state."

"After all the things that have happened here we must continue running a marathon," Kara explained.

"To pass huge reforms you can not use the same existing means and the same old politicians. You can not use the same government. I tell you this as someone who watched it inside and out. We managed to get the next Knesset not to have one Shulman, but Shulmanim."
