The morbidity in the ultra-Orthodox street continues even more, and with it the violation of mass guidelines, but together with a turning point in the form of increasing reports from the sector itself about the violations.

The ultra-Orthodox cities continue to lead the table of red cities with particularly large morbidity rates.

Kochav Yaakov and Beitar Illit recorded a particularly high rate of patients, with 29 percent positive tests, and Elad not far behind them with 26 percent positive tests.

Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit and Kiryat Ya'arim also recorded a particularly high rate of positive tests.

Throughout the day, police officers acted in front of educational institutions, synagogues and events that acted contrary to instructions.

During a police operation in Jerusalem this morning against an educational institution, they were attacked by unknown individuals who threw stones at them.

In the afternoon, police forces arrived at an educational institution in the city of Beit Shemesh and many students who were there began to gather around the police, shouted abusive chants against them and even tried to beat them.

The fact that there has been an increase in the number of actions against incidents and breaches of the closure is not accidental.

Following the wedding in Bnei Brak this week, which was attended by hundreds of followers, there was a huge public outcry within the ultra-Orthodox society, and with it a significant increase in reports to the Ministry of Health and the police about the violations.

The ultra-Orthodox WhatsApp groups have made clear calls to report people who do not follow the rules, defining them as "murderers."

Today: Worldwide prayer for Corona patients

Due to the continuation of the plague and the difficult situation of the sick in Israel, a world day of prayer is being held today, an initiative of Chief Rabbi David Lau.

Ahead of the day of prayer, the rabbi called on those who could take it upon themselves - to fast on this day until midnight, a very unusual call.

The main prayer service will take place at 16:00 in Rachel's Tomb without an audience, and will be broadcast on the "Israel Today" website and in other media in Israel and around the world.

At this time, prayers will be held, according to the guidelines, in various countries and communities in Israel.
