Following the winter system of the past week, in the coming days the rain and low temperatures are expected to continue to frequent our area.
Today (Wednesday) it rained intermittently from the north of the country to the Negev, accompanied by thunderstorms, hail and strong winds.
Temperatures will continue to drop and it will be colder than usual for the season.
Snow fell on Mount Hermon and in the northern Golan Heights, there is a chance of light snow also on the peaks of the Galilee and central mountains over 900 meters.
Already at night, cold air penetrated our areas, causing heavy snow on Mount Hermon, when between morning and noon, a short "window of opportunity" opened for light snow in the air, even in areas of 900 meters in the north and in the central mountains in the 900 meters.
This snow is expected to be in the high mountain area in Samaria, Hebron, Kiryat Arba and maybe some flakes in the high places in Jerusalem.
From the afternoon the rains will weaken and diminish, at night the rain will stop and it will be very cold, with fear of cold in the places.
