In order to find out what young people in Neufahrn want, Mobile Youth Work designed an online survey.

You can still take part until February 10th.

Neufahrn

- Now all adolescents and young adults in Neufahrn are asked: With an online survey, which is still available up to and including February 10 at www.soscisurvey.de/umfragemojaneufahrn/, the mobile youth work of the Neufahrn community (MoJa) wants to be satisfied of young people with the local conditions as well as the need of this age group for further offers.

How satisfied are the young people with the leisure activities in Neufahrn?

The mobile youth work team has been considering for a long time to determine the specific needs of young new drivers.

"That is why we are very happy to be able to address all adolescents and young adults between ten and 27 years of age in Neufahrn directly with this online survey," said a press release.

This involves the following questions: How satisfied are the young people with the current range of leisure activities, both indoors and outdoors?

What could be better?

What are specific suggestions or wishes for the future?

The survey itself was carried out by the university intern Agnes Großeslhuber as part of a voluntary practical project at the end of last year in collaboration with the social pedagogue Natalie Berndl and in professional coordination with Ulrike Thalmeier from the children's and youth center.

As early as December 3rd, youth social worker Sandra Brinkemper handed out the first questionnaires to the pupils at the Jo Mihaly Middle School.

146 of these have since been completed and returned to MoJa.

Personal contact with young people has almost completely disappeared

Due to the tightening of the corona measures, the MoJa team then had to think about at short notice how the survey could be continued as broadly as possible despite the lockdown.

Because the corona pandemic has also changed a lot in daily work for mobile youth work in the Neufahrn community.

With the exception of individual appointments, personal contact with young people in Neufahrn has more or less disappeared since November.

Normally Natalie Berndl and Jolanta Dederer are out and about on the streets of Neufahrn almost every day to exchange ideas with young people in the community and to offer support.

There are now just two days a week, and even there the opportunities for personal exchange are difficult due to the valid corona contact restrictions.

Because of this, it was decided to move the questionnaire campaign to the Internet.

As a result, especially in the current exceptional situation dominated by lockdown, the survey is also an additional opportunity for MoJa employees to stay in contact with young people in Neufahrn and to receive important feedback for future projects and key issues.

MoJa has now also published the link to the survey on its channels in the social networks and on the website of the Neufahrn children's and youth center.

In addition, the survey's QR code was printed on small cards.

The two MoJa street workers have these with them during their severely restricted work outside in the event that they meet one or the other adolescent or young adult on the street - which, however, is rare at the moment due to the corona lockdown.
