Austria
Sebastian Kurz, the Chancellor of Austria, spoke of the "common values" and "global challenges" that Europe and the US face in this new era of Biden-Harris.

Belgium
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said that Biden's presidency is a "new chapter for relations between Europe and the US", noting that Biden "is clearly in favor of strong transatlantic ties."
"[Biden] is a staunch multilateralist who supports the Paris Climate Agreement and sees NATO as the cornerstone of our common defense policy," De Croo wrote in a statement.
“His arrival in office reaffirms the Western alliance firmly on its two legs: the European and the American.

Pope Francis congratulated Biden and expressed his best wishes in his administration.
