The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in the Quneitra Governorate has put in place a new well for drinking water in service in the Khashaniya water unit sector at the Ein Fraikha village in the southern countryside of the governorate, from which about 35 thousand citizens will benefit.
The director of the foundation, Eng. Amin Al-Shamali, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that the new well will contribute to securing drinking water for citizens as part of the corporation’s work plan to increase the per capita share of drinking water and the permanent search for new sources of water to meet the citizens ’needs.
And he indicated that the new well has been equipped with electrical equipment and a generator to secure its operation during the power outage, explaining that its abundance is 40 cubic meters per hour, and it has been linked to the public network, where the number of beneficiaries is estimated at about 35 thousand people.
