Today, the Lebanese Council of Ministers decided to extend the general closure in the country until the eighth of next February, as part of measures to address the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Director General of the Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makiya as saying in a statement that “the Presidency of the Council issued a statement to extend the complete closure decision,” indicating that after President Michel Aoun and Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab were informed of the decisions of the Ministerial Committee to follow up the Corona epidemic, the approval was decided. The committee’s recommendation to extend the general closure until the eighth of next February.
On the fourth of this month, the Lebanese Council of Ministers announced the general closure of the country until the end of this month.
