Al-Hasakah City Council ran a number of tanks in the city center of Al-Hasakah to deliver water to citizens for household use, in light of the Turkish occupier cutting off drinking water and stopping the Alouk station for the sixth consecutive day.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent, the city council’s president, Eng. Adnan Khajo, stated that the council had set up three tanks to transport and secure water suitable for household use from wells belonging to the Hasakah City Council in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens due to water interruptions due to the suspension of pumping from the Alouk station by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and depriving about a million people He pointed out that the council dug during the last period 28 wells in several points in the city center, in cooperation with the High Commissioner for Refugees.
On the same level, the Director General of Al-Hasakah Water, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Akla, confirmed the continuation of drinking water from wells and stations belonging to the corporation located east of the city to invest all tanks belonging to the public sector and said: “Water is transported through tanks to fill the tanks that have been installed by the branch of the Red Crescent Syrian in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The drinking water crisis is exacerbating as the Turkish occupation continues to cut it off and the people run out of stock, in conjunction with the US occupation forces 'Qasd militia, which continues to restrict the people and prevent private tanks from entering the city center to fill the residents' water tanks.
