Five people were killed and others wounded in an explosive device explosion targeting a car carrying two former Somali parliamentarians as it drove through an intersection in the capital, Mogadishu.
The new Somalia website said that the two former MPs, Muhyiddin Hassan Farah and Hussein Arali survived an assassination attempt today, after their car was targeted with an explosive device at the Bihani intersection in the capital Mogadishu, explaining that the explosion that was heard throughout the capital killed 5 of the guards of the two targeted MPs and resulted in injuries in Lines of civilians who happened to pass by.
The site indicated that Somali police forces arrived at the scene of the explosion and cordoned off it, without any comment from the security services on the incident.
