Today, the Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate reopened the Alouk water station after its work was stopped by the Turkish occupation forces seven days ago and the establishment's workers were prevented from entering it.

The Director General of the General Organization for Drinking Water, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ekla, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that 21 of the wells of the station have been put into operation and that the reservoirs of the Alouk area have started to be filled, after which water will be pumped to the reservoirs of al-Hama, and upon completion of its filling, water will be pumped to the subscribers in the city of Hasaka tomorrow. According to the applicable legalization program.

The Turkish occupation forces had stopped operating the Alouk station, which supplies the city of Hasakah and the western countryside with water, for the eighteenth time since it occupied Ras al-Ain since November 2019.
