The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are passable, except for some roads in the governorates of Homs, Lattakia and As-Suwayda, which are impassable or impassable with difficulty due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department clarified in its bulletin, of which SANA received a copy of the road conditions for this afternoon, that all roads in Homs Governorate are passable except for the roads leading to the Arqama area, which are impassable due to the formation of ice.
In Lattakia governorate, all roads are passable, except for Al-Garandah / Al-Ghab road and Beit Yashout / Al-Manizalah road.
In the As-Suwayda governorate, all roads are passable except for the roads leading to Al-Mashhanf sub-district and its villages, and the roads leading to Salkhad / Al-Kufr / Zohr Al-Jabal are all passable with difficulty due to the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the technical condition of the vehicle / brakes, tires, windshield wipers and lights / reduce the speed, increase the safety distance, use fog lights, the necessity to use a seat belt and not use a mobile phone while driving in all circumstances and conditions to avoid the risks they face on the roads, indicating that it allocated the two numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about road conditions.
