Former British Prime Minister, his wife Cherie and their four successful children succeed in business with a net worth of 110 million

The final years of the 20th century and the first years of the 21st were marked in the UK by a political but also media family: the Blairs.

Labor Tony Blair became prime minister of the country between 1997 and 2007 thanks to landslide victories.

His stay at 10 Downing Street gave a lot to talk about not only for his political performance, but also for his large family.

He and his wife, Cherie, already had three children when they settled in the London residence, and in 1999 they announced that they were expecting one more.

His oldest children were already teenagers: Euan, 15, Nicky, 14, and Kathryn, 11. In 2000, he joined the Leo family.

Now all of them are in the news again, if they ever stopped being.

This time the question is their fortunes.

The last to come to the fore was the eldest, Euan.

At the age of 37, he made headlines in economic publications for his

Educational

start-up

Multiverse, which has managed to raise 44 million dollars (about 36 million euros) in a financing round led by Google Ventures, the investment arm of the technology company,

.

The young Blair founded the company Multiverse in 2016 that is dedicated to helping young people without a university degree to find a profession for which they are equipped with instructors.

Despite the pandemic, in 2020 they managed to triple the number of apprentices.

Now, with this injection of money (in addition to the 3.3 million they raised in 2018 and the 16 million in 2019) they seek to carve out a market niche in the United States and will begin operating in New York this January.

Its clients in Europe include Microsoft, Facebook or Morgan Stanley.

Euan owns 47% of the company, valued at 147 million pounds, which means that he has 70 million pounds (almost 79 million euros).

The

Daily Mail

newspaper

, which has taken into account what the family accumulates, believes that with this operation, the Blairs' fortune will exceed 100 million pounds (112 million euros).

The firstborn of the marriage became tabloid meat two decades ago.

When, at the age of 16, in July 2000, the young man was arrested when he was found drunk and semi-conscious on the floor of Leicester Square, a square a few meters from his Downing Street residence, after an end-of-term party.

The police officer who discovered him had to detain him at the police station for being “incapacitated and drunk”.

Gone are those things of youth.

Today Euan is a 37-year-old tech entrepreneur who graduated in Ancient History from Bristol, with an MA in International Relations, happily married, according to

.

He was a fellow in the US Congress, worked at Morgan Stanley, and has published essays in

foreign policy

about the importance of thinking about other educational models beyond the university.

His brothers have also had a successful destiny.

Kathryn owns two houses in London, of 1.4 and 2.4 million pounds.

Nicholas, nicknamed Nicky, 34, is probably the best known of the four.

It's been more than a decade since he graduated from Oxford University and decided to become a footballer agent.

He is now a renowned professional in this field and has specialized in the South American transfer market, although his headquarters are in London, in offices owned by his mother, Cherie.

He also lives in the same city, with his wife, in a house valued at three million euros.

The third daughter of the clan, Kathryn, is 31 years old and also a lawyer.

He has amassed an important patrimony thanks to the real estate sale, since in 2013, with only 23, he acquired a house valued at 1.4 million pounds (1.6 million euros), a house that was supposedly in the name from his mother but whose ownership he transferred to him, according to the

Daily Mail

.

In 2018 he bought another one in the city center for 2.7 million euros.

He also owns part of another property in Buckinghamshire, in the British countryside.

After leaving Downing Street, Cherie Blair founded the Omnia Strategy law firm, which has earned her more than four million pounds (4.5 million euros), according to the same British media.

In addition, during these years he has done business with real estate sales.

Together with his son Euan, he owns the company Oldbury Residential Limited, which has 31 homes in the Manchester area, bought for about 2.7 million euros, which they rent mainly to students, and from which they obtain huge profits: only in 2016 and 2017, 450,000 euros.

Already in 2002 Cherie Blair was in the spotlight for the sale of two apartments in Bristol, an operation in which she resorted to a man convicted of fraud to obtain a discount.

In addition, the lawyer has been buying and selling various properties for which she has entered good amounts or that she continues to own and they have appreciated in the market.

For example, he bought a Georgian house next to Hyde Park, for 3.65 million pounds that today is worth more than eight.

His country house, bought in 2008 for four million, today is worth 10.

To all these income are added those of the former prime minister.

Blair left office with an annual pension of about 72,000 euros, but that has become small change thanks to his participation in various foundations and institutes with which he has collaborated over the years, in addition to his role as a lecturer for the who came to charge 340,000 euros for a single talk.

With his association, he is dedicated to advising governments on political and religious issues, although at times the choice of his clients (Kuwait, the Egyptian Abdelfatá Al Sisi or the former president of Kazakhstan, among them) has been highly criticized.

The now called Tony Blair Institute For Global Change had a turnover of 37 million euros in 2019 alone.
