Large police forces were deployed this morning (Sunday) in order to prevent the opening of ultra-Orthodox educational institutions in violation of the closure guidelines.
Yesterday, the Rebbe of Moiznitz, Rabbi Israel Hagar, ordered the resumption of studies at institutions affiliated with Hasidism throughout the country, and also asked not to confront the police. Dozens of institutions are expected to open, joining the extremist factions in ultra-Orthodox society.
