Life insurance saw a record outflow of 6.5 billion euros in 2020, a year when the Covid-19 crisis upset the habits of the French regarding their savings.

The last month of the year, however, enabled a return to positive net inflows of around 550 million, for the first time since the start of the coronavirus crisis in March, according to data released on Monday by the French Federation of insurance.
