Journalist Sergio Lapegüe, who recently returned from a family vacation in the Dominican Republic, caught the coronavirus and
remains hospitalized
at the Juncal de Temperley Sanatorium.
According to La Nación, Lapegüe
has the virus located in the right lung
, and since he is
asthmatic
, he is considered a risk patient.
For that reason he was quickly hospitalized.
A few days ago, the radio and television journalist returned from a family vacation in the
Dominican Republic
, and was scheduled to return to work on February 1.

"These are some of the postcards of perhaps the best vacations we spent with my family and our friends," he said in his last post on his Instagram account.
"There we enjoyed the sun and the sea. From the endless talks. From the complicit laughter," he said.
At the end of December, Lapegüe surprised with a video arriving at the El Trece studios in which he announced that he
was going to take a break
after a long and intense year of work.
"We need to stop a bit, lower a gear. Take the machine to the pits to continue the race. The goal is getting closer and closer. I'm going on vacation, thank you from the heart for every loving message. I love you !!!!", he concluded in that post.
Lapegüe works on the Todo Noticias morning newscast and on El Trece, in addition to hosting the radio program
