Thwarted an attempt to detonate a motorcycle bomb in front of a petrol station in central Daraa, without causing any casualties

The engineering units of the Syrian Arab Army thwarted an attempt to detonate a motorcycle with an explosive device placed in front of the Al-Shaab fuel station in the center of Daraa, and another attempt to plant an explosive device in a car in the North Al-Khat neighborhood without causing any casualties among the citizens.

Governorate Police Chief Brigadier General Dirar Al-Dandal said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that members of the army had suspected in the morning that a person was placing an explosive device at the bottom of a car parked in the North Al-Khat neighborhood and shot at him, which resulted in his death, indicating that the device was detonated in its place due to its inability to dismantle without No injuries occurred.

He added that at about 11:30 a.m., an unknown corner of a motorcycle detonated with a concussion device that did not disassemble near the Shaab fuel station in the city center, was detonated by engineering personnel after the citizens were removed from the site and securing the place, indicating that no human casualties occurred while limited material damage occurred in Place.
